Mexican Corn Cake

This is a recreation of the Mexican corn cake by El Torito restaurant. This is a very moist and tasty recipe.

Recipe ingredients

1 (8 ½ ounce) box cornbread mix
1 (15 ounce) can creamed corn (not whole kernel)
¼ cup milk
¼ cup light corn syrup

Cooking Steps

  • Mix all ingredients together well.

  • Pour into greased 8 inch square pan.

  • Bake at 350 F (180 degrees C) for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
