Easter truffles
Recipe ingredients
½ cup Cream
2 tbsp Sugar
200g Chocolate, chopped.
¼ cup ground Almonds
½ cup blanched Almonds, chopped.
200g dark Chocolate, melted for dipping
Cooking Steps
Combine the cream and sugar over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Now bring mixture to the boil and boil for about 4 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove the cream mixture from heat and let stand for about 3 minutes, then add cooking chocolate and stir until completely melted. After cooling to room temperature, stir in chopped and ground almonds.
Chill the mixture until almost set and shape into balls, then chill until balls are firm. Dip truffles in melted dark chocolate and place on a tray lined with baking paper. Chill until chocolate sets and serve.
