Ravioli in a Basil cream and wine sauce
Recipe ingredients
30g butter
1 shallot finely chopped
1 small glove garlic crushed
300ml cream
60ml white wine
1-2 tbls tomato paste
1 cube vegetable stock
salt
fresh basil
Parmesan cheese
Ravioli, home made or bought
Cooking Steps
Melt butter and saute shallots and garlic until soft.
add crumb stock cube, cook another 1 minute
add wine and reduce for 1-2 minutes
add cream and tomato paste simmer for 1-2 minutes until thick
season to taste
Pour over pre-cooked ravioli
sprinkle parmesan over and garnish with fresh basil
