Pecan nut Brownies

Brownies made with pecans, chocolate, vanilla and syrup.

Recipe ingredients

1 oz Unsweetened chocolate, chopped.
8 oz Butter or margarine
1¾ cups Sugar
¼ cup Light corn syrup
2 tsp Vanilla extract
4 eggs
quarter teaspoon salt
1 cup sifted flour
three quart. cup chopped pecans
6 (1 cup) ounces semisweet chocolate chips

Cooking Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). In a glass bowl, combine unsweetened chocolate and butter. Heat in the microwave on high for 1 to 3 minutes, or until chocolate is melted and smooth.

  • With a fork, beat in sugar, corn syrup, vanilla and eggs until well mixed. Spread evenly in a greased, foil lined 9x13 inch baking pan. Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips over the top. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until set.
