Caramel Slice
Recipe ingredients
1 cup self raising flour.
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup desicated coconut.
125g melted butter.
395 can condensed milk.
2 tbsp golden syrup.
30g butter.
150g nestles dark chocolate melts,melted.
Cooking Steps
Heat oven to 180 degrees C on bake. Combine the flour, sugar, coconut and butter in a bowl. Place in a 12 by 18cm baking tin and place in oven for 10 minutes.
Combine condensed milk, golden syrup and butter in a sauce pan stir over a medium heat until butter has melted.
When the base has been in the oven for 10 minutes take it out, pour the condensed milk mixture over it and return to the oven for a further 10 minutes. When done leave to cool.
When cooled pour over the melted chocolate. Slice when set and enjoy.

Used only 1/2cup brown sugar
Used only 1/2cup brown sugar instead, and 100g butter for the base & it came out well. This is a crowd pleasing recipe.
