Toffee oats cookies
Recipe ingredients
¾ cup soft butter
½ cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1½ cups rolled oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
½ cup chopped pecans
2 cups toffee, chopped
Cooking Steps
Cream together the butter and brown sugar in a bowl then stir in the egg and vanilla until smooth.
Sift together the flour, salt and baking soda and also stir into the creamed mixture. Stir in rolled oats and finally, stir in the chopped toffee pieces.
Place dough by rounded tablespoons onto the prepared cookie sheets, and flatten slightly.
Preheat your oven to 150 °C (300 °F) and line a cookie tray with baking paper. Bake for about 15 minutes.
