Carrot Cake
Recipe ingredients
1 ½ cups oil
2 cups brown sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups whole-meal flour
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups finely grated carrot
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 small teaspoons baking soda
Icing:
cream cheese
icing sugar
vanilla
melted butter
lemon juice
Cooking Steps
Mix well oil, sugar and cinnamon then whip eggs and vanilla and combine.
Mix flour, carrot, salt and walnuts together.
Combine two mixtures and fold in baking soda.
Pour into an 8 or 10 inch cake tins and bake at 350 °F for approx 55min.
