Blueberry Muffins

Blueberry Muffins

Yummy blueberry muffins with a sugary-cinnamon crumb topping. Add extra blueberries, if you want!

Recipe ingredients

1½ cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup white sugar
½ tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
1 cup fresh blueberries
Crumb Topping:
½ cup white sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup butter, cubed
1½ tsp ground cinnamon

Cooking Steps

  • Preheat oven to 200 °C (400 °F) and grease a muffin cups tin or line with muffin liners.

  • Combine flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Put the oil into a 1 cup measuring cup; add the egg and enough milk to fill the rest of the measuring cup. Then mix this with your flour mixture.

  • Fold in blueberries and fill the muffin cups right to the top, sprinkle with crumb topping mixture.

  • Crumb Topping: Using a fork, mix together sugar, flour, butter and cinnamon. Sprinkle over muffins before baking.

  • Bake for about 20 minutes, or until done.

yes finally someone who knows how too make the topping!! ive been looking for it for years (woolworths use too make theres like this when i was a teenager and they were the best ever) cant wait too make them and eat them
